SportJet 120 fuel problems

Last Fall I dumped some fuel stabil in my tank and stored my boat away. This spring I can't get it to run.

The first time I took it out, I did get it to start, and gave it some throttle, and while it had the throttle it ran, however as soon as I backed it down the engine stalled and would not start again.

Second time I tried, I was able to get it to fire a few times, but would only run for 2-5 seconds and then stall.

I suspect bad gas? It appeared that gas was dripping from the bowl of the bottom carb the last time I tried to take it out.

I just took the plastic air intake off, and removed both bowls from the carbs. The lower bowl had some fuel, but not much. the top bowl seemed to have a lot more.

I just came through the forums and saw someone else had a problem and the vent lines were suspected. I took a look at mine and they're definitely not clean. I was able to blow through the top one, but on the lower carb it looks like there's actually a bunch of gunk in the elbow itself. How do you clean that out? Do my symptoms make sense for this type of problem?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Pull the lines off , the brass elbows are press fit just get plyers on them and turn a little to losen them up and take them out , clean with paper clip and what ever else you have handy , be sure the vent into the carb is clean to .
