Spot-X Has anyone used this stuff?

Ok.. I'm about ready to try anything now...<br />I have hard water stains on my truck's glass, as well as the boat.<br /><br />I know the problem... my well water is hard. The solution is a very expensive softener system. But in the mean time, I have to deal with spots:<br /><br />I ran across a web page that offers 'Spot-X'<br /><br />Has anyone used this, or is this product just another 'Magic elixir' ?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />H.

LimeAway and CLR work real good. Dont know about the stuff you mentioned.

You might want to check into that new Mr Clean AutoDry gizmo they been advertiising. I just bought one yesterday Roscoe..<br />It cut down quite a bit on the spots, but it didn't kill them all.<br /><br />I need a full-blown water softening system.<br />Unfortunately, I need to win the lottery to afford one!<br /><br />I have a bottle of CLR around here somewhere... I'm trying that next.<br /><br />I'm also calling a glass shop. Maybe they have some tricks.<br /><br />H.

If you want to make a car/truck glass windshield spotless and shine try this trick....<br />Spray the glass with a good glass cleaner and wipe all the glass with 0000 steel wool! This will remove all traces of grine and errant flying insect DNA!<br /><br />Bob
