Spotlight mount

I will be purchasing a new remote spotlight for my 1990 sundancer which does not have a mount on top of the niw rail. Does anyone where I can purchase a plate to be able to mount it?

Doubt if you can find one because there are so many possible variations. I would do one of two things, Either cut a piece of aluminum or stainless steel and fasten to the bow rail using U or J bolts; Or take the boat to a welding shop and have them weld one on

That's the way I'd go, too. If, like me, you're better equipped to work with wood than metal, you could use plywood or Starboard for the 'platform', too.

Any of the many Clamp on Flag Pole Sockets or Rail Mount Antenna Clamps might be workable with a little modification.
