I have a 28 Aqua patio with 95 model Johnson 112 and a layout deck on top , the problem is at 1/2 or above throttle, the transom throws a alot of water onto the front of the motor. There are not any transom fins and the motor seems to be positioned right. Do you think I need to add fins or raise motor to correct the spray issue?

I have tilt and trim, but I mean do I physically need to raise motor by adding block of wood onto transom, I believe when I trimed motor while cruising, it did not help. I will try again this weekend with trim while moving, but it was a good bit of water being sprayed onto front of motor. It is regular shaft not long.

It needs to be a long shaft.
