Pro's and con's please. The boat is leaking pretty bad and he wants to, of course, get it stopped. Thanks.

you're in the wrong area, but i would first determine where it is leaking, and can you fix it another way. spraying bedliner is only going to slow you down, and will probably start to peal off. if water can come in it will go out. put the pulg in and turn on the hose. find the leaks.

Might do great inside the boat but not on the outside. Best thing to do is find the leak. There is a compamy that makes a paint the seals small leaks in aluminum. Welding them closed is the best option!

Can you locate the leak(s). If so I would recomend you use a product called aquamend. You can buy a tube of it for 3 bucks at homedepot, mix the material in your fingers till it turns from green color to white and apply it to the boat to cover the hole / leak. Stuff dries in 20 minutes can be used on metal or fiberglass in or out of the water, turns rock hard, won't chip off. I use it to patch friends boats, my surf boards, leaky plumbing. Fixed a 2 inch gash in an aluminum boat 3 years ago and it doesn't leak. I fear the bedliner spray will be too thin unless you do like 50 applicatons.
