hey guys. Well, I got the ol' girl out of storage and have her at my work. Great way to spend your lunch hour, working on the boat. So far I have gotten my new 3.0 litre alternator installed, my fuel filter/water separator installed, got my new bilge blower installed and wired but still needs to be hosed, got my under deck fuel line conduit installed( 1" pvc pipe hung from stringer with insulated clamps). All I have left to do is plumb the fuel system, put floor & carpet down, and install seats. Oh, the trailer needs new bunks.
Almost there.

Now, for the question, I am planning to plumb my fuel system from tank to filter to pump with 3/8" fuel line, but from the pump to the carb, there is 5/16" fuel line and return. will this be an issue?

Re: spring 2014 update

probably won't affect anything unless you have a flow meter...Floscan recommends 3/8 line with minimum restrictions the whole way (ie, no brass elbows, etc) for most accurate readings. 5/16 should be plenty to feed that motor at WOT
