Still too cold here. I'm still going strong with my winter hobby of model railroading so I'm not ready to get the boat out yet. I do plan to get an early start on boat this year. Last year I had to do my transom and with a baby in the house I was slow to get started. Didn't hit the water till the middle of June. I'll make up for it this year and hopefully get out in April.

Been raining on and off for weeks for us . . . doesn't feel like spring yet to me at all and we don't really even get cold. I've been wanting to get a pic of the local mountains as we have a ton of snow, but it hasn't cleared long enough. Heck, I had to chain up the truck just last week to take the boys skiing . . .

Still cold here too - we did have some really nice days in the mid 50's a couple of weeks back though.

I know spring is close because:

1. I've been seeing pairs of robins and cardinals flirting in the back yard
2. There are buds on the trees - nothing green yet though
3. The skunks are out

We've been waiting to see the tulips pop out of the ground - that's when it's official for me.

Crazy weather this week. Below freezing at night and nice during the day. My neighbor fired up his motorcycle and took it for a test run. Mine's still sitting in the garage with "WASH ME" written in the dust on my gas tank. Thanks Mrs. i386.

Okay I got the first sign of Spring ...... We are getting a storm that is supposed to dump 8" of snow.... oh well........

The true sign was when I checked the mail and got a seed catalog
