Looking to get into boating and have found a local 98 Sprint F/S with 200 Yamaha ob in $11k range. Seems to be a real nice boat.
As a newbie my concerns are:
Sprint is no longer in buisiness. I'm guessing that's not that uncommon in this industry but would it be better for me to lean towards a more consistent brand?
200 hp sounds like a lotta motor. I gotta believe this is a gas hog and may be tough for a less experienced person to handle... true?
Anything else anyone can advise me about the boat and/or motor and deal?
