Re: spun hub ?

Pop the rubber cap off the back of the prop. Then with an indelible marker, make a line along the hub where the shear pin goes up to the part of the prop where the blades are. Put the rubber cap back on. Then take the engine out for a run.
If the marks no longer line up, the prop is spun.

Oh, I ment the nose cone thing at the end of the prop - I forgot it's plastic on your outboard. You know, the black part that holds the shear pin in place.
Sorry about that.
The prop hub must be fixed at a prop shop. You have to press out the hub, replace the rubber bushing between it an the part of the prop where the blades attach, and then press the hub back in.

Yeah, you can still get them for your outboard. Iboats sells 'Michigan Match' props from Michigan Wheel. They're around $80.
Rehubbing your old prop should be cheaper than that. But if it's all beat up you might want a new one anyway.

Thanks - prop nut, that's it. I guess the old brain is only firing on one cylinder tonight...

I think a 12 or 13" prop is what you're looking for, but that's really just a guess.
See if you can find the part number on your prop - at least it'll give you something to go off of.
Mabey someone who knows better will come along.
