With the boats that do show up, I'm sure all will see a bit of attention for the group. Mine is open to anyone that wants to get some A/C, a cool drink, or even watch the tube a bit. On more than one occasion, we have even had people sleeping on the floor (well, technically, I think it's called 'passed out')! Personally, I'm hoping for a little ride on something that sees speeds faster than 23 MPH!

Yes I do live on the water, it really is nice, my little half fast boat ramp has limitations, I can put in most anytime, have to either take out shortly after the tide turns or wait until about 3/4 tide to take out due to the flow of the water, too fast and creek to narrow to turn and come across to load on the trailer. I have to get out before low tide and return before low tide, otherwise I drop anchor and wait for the tide to come in. I am about an hour from the ICW, I cross it to go to my beach.

I am ready for June to get here so I can meet everyone, it is going to be a good time.

Must be rough, having to wait... in your boat, anchored... gee, I hope you never get forced to drop a line or two in to fish, just to fight the boredom waiting for the tide You've got it good, Buddy!!!

Gotcha covered, Fireman My chaparral is no speedboat, but she'll break 50 with a minimal load, and 46 loaded (by GPS) She's a smooth quick ride at WOT.

Passing out on your deck sounds great!!!... But not with children there. Besides, I'd like to remember all of this trip!!!

I haven't been 50 MPH in a boat since I sold my 21' offshore CC. Do you actually think I'm gonna give you a hard time?!?

My money is on VH's wife! They started in this thread with a "warning" that she wasn't much of a drinker...I'm ready to lay down a bet that before the weekend is over, you won't be able to drive a nail into her liver!!

Then again, obviously my wife will be there and she has a tendency to be a bit "outgoing"...may just send everyone running for the hills...

I am still here and still planning on being there, with or without the boat, just depends on what happens tween now and then. I really hope to have the boat with me. In other words, yes I am keeping up with this, check post 180 and 178, I am still here and waiting for the time to get here. Can't wait to meet everyone.
