Stabil in every fill up or not?

Should stabil used in every fill up to gaurantee no starting problems? I recently got our motor back and had a recarb done to it. They said it was varnished up. So I figure putting this in should cure the problem. Our boat might be sitting 2 to 3 weeks at a time due to it being 1.1/2 hours away.

It won't hurt but it really isn't necessary if it is only for two or three weeks. If you should decide to add it later you could just drive around to mix it with tank and then run the engine on muffs.

I rarely use it because I use my boats year round, but do if I know I'm going to leave them for longer than 3 months or so. I know some people use it all the time, but I really don't see a need to, at times my motors sit for 6 months or more with out it and I never have any problems. I've even cleaned the carbs after a year of sitting and not found any gunk. I did need to clean the carbs on one of my motors, it sat for 6 or 7 years out side on a boat I never used, I hooked it up to a fresh tank of fuel, pumped the bulb and it started right up, the reason for the carb cleaning was for a rough idle, after the cleaning it ran perftect. I have had motors that the carbs did need a complete cleaning because of old fuel, but these had all sat for much longer than a single season. We've also been using blended fuels in my area for many years and I've never experienced any of the many issues people are alway's fearful of. These are just my experiences, other peoples may differ.

SeaFoam. Will keep moisture out, keep the gas fresh and clean out the fuel system.

A lot depends on the environment where its being stored. I've had gas go bad in as little as 1 week. Let's just say it won't hurt.

Thanks everyone I think to be safe and it not cost me $950.00 next year I guess I'll just keep putting it in. Plus with the gas so out of whack at the pumps ya never know what their puttin in it . Thanks for your comments.
