Our boating (fishing) season runs March to December. Seeing more and more enclosures /spray curtains on center consoles. In my last post I raved about our Whaler (also a CC). But that's not our only boat. Sure it has a lot of space and rides well, but its not an all-season boat. The windshield is narrow and is barely adequate for 2 people. If you have more passengers, some of them are going to be pelted with wind.
Fished a tournament last Spring on a 24’ Vector CC with a T-top and 3-sided enclosure. The canvas attached to the t-top and the gunnels forming a “gull wing”. The front canvas snapped to the sides creating a wind break the width of the boat.
With the exception of not having a rear curtain, which I leave open on mine, his enclosures is just as serviable as mine on a walk around.
Have a soft spot for a Parker 25 Pilot house and the Judge 27 Chesapeake for inclement weather conditions
