I tried out a Quicksilver 5 blade 19P SS prop today. Hole shot obviously was incredible, but my RPM's were over the top. My range should be 4400-4800 and I was pushing 5400 and only about 40 mph. I am looking for good hole shot, and definitely more top end speed too, so my question is, should I go all the way back to 3 blades or can I go 4 blade up to about a 23P SS and keep that great hole shot and increase my top end speed while lowering those RPMs. My top end with alum 3 blade was just over 50.
