Anybody ever see or use one of these? They are made locally and I was wondering what you guys think. I need one and am thinking of going this way. The original design seems to be a weak point and this is lower cost too. He also makes a swivel shaft . . . Thoughts?

About the only thing I see that could be wrong with using it is the increased corrosion due to the SS and aluminum. Everyone knows about the Bravo III problem with corrosion and those 2 big SS props.
There are now several extra anodes, and they had to change the aluminum alloy a bit to compenstate.

The thing is, your opinion is educated rodbolt . . . Pretty stupid (or smart) that they don't have some sort of replaceable bushing.

Well, for me Don, it is a Bravo 1 and I am a fresh water, trailer boat user. Less of a risk?

I am a Ron Hill supporter. He makes great props, he makes this Gimbal ring, but his son runs this site, and I am not a 100% Chad fan yet . . . With that said, the ring has been fine.

Thanks QC. I might as well get the good stuff and do it once rather than pay for for so-so parts.
