My engine is stripped down and most of the bolts are rusty, I have access to stainless steel nuts and bolts throu work, is their any problem using them on aluminium in salt water,<br />Thanks
Usem' everywhere. For places that DO NOT require loc tite, use never seize.....They should be marine grade 316 type(nickle based) and not chromium based S.S. Crank case and head bolts should be S.S structural type (jus' crank case halves and heads..) DO NOT CHANGE INTERNAL BOLTS EXCEPT WITH EXACT REPLACEMENTS.
