Stalling Engine

I am having trouble with my 1980 85 Johnson outboard. The problem I am having is that the engine will start and idle just fine. When I put the engine in gear under load it also runs fine. However once I begin to give the engine gas I bogs down and stalls out. If I allow the engine enough time to run at idle it will work out the problem on its own and run fine. This happens everytime I turn off the boat and let it sit for just 10 min. Once I start it up again the samething happens. To me it seems like a fuel problem. My attempted solutions have been to replace the vaucum fuel pump, replace my in-line fuel filter, replace my fuel water seperator, and install new fuel lines. These haven't worked though and now I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Re: Stalling Engine

I pulled the carbs, clean and rebuilt then reinstalled. Took back out on the water and got the same results. Runs fine on start and idle, runs fine idleing in gear and stalls out once gas added. After idleing for a few min. clears out and runs fine. Once I shut it down for just 10 min I get the same results.
