:confused:Is there anything else out there, that anyone knows of that could work for a tilt trim system for a Johnson 70hp 1977. Some after market, an adaption plate... etc. that a person could use instead of an old model one that is hard to find and repairs cost a fortune. Thanks

Hi there, I already paid 550.00 for the wrong one. Which I am sure I am going to have fight to get my $$back for, even though he guaranteed it would work for me. And has a 7 day return, it isnt suppost to be mailed until the 6th of july and he isnt answering my emails. etc and I bought it yesterday.
So with that said, which on is it from the iboats listing that you sent me which one do I need to order, thanks lots

You need the PT-130. Yeah they're pricey but a great product. You can probably sell it for close to what you paid for it sometime in the future if you get a new motor with T&T. If I had the $$ I'd definitely have one.

Yeah they are pretty universal. You just need one for the appropriate horsepower handling capability which the PT-130 is. You remove your motor from the boat, mount the PT-130 to the boat and mount your motor to it. All the hole should line up. Be sure to let us know how it works out if you get one.

I will let you know how it works if I go that route, will I need wires and what not or does it come with control wires etc? Gonna have to toggle it since I dont have the tilt trim button on this throttle. thanks again.
