Re: Stanley Cup

As a lifelong Blues fan I think it will hurt the most if Joel Quenville (The winningest coach in Blues history) raises the Cup in Chicago.... Like Hull in Dallas, Shanahan (Who I named my first born son after) in Detroit, Hull AND Shanahan in Detroit, Weight and Brindamour in Carolina, Pronger in Anaheim.....Etc. Oh well I have a whole summer and fall of sports to watch. after the cup parade is over Chicago has to watch the CUBS. THANK GOD FOR CARDINALS BASEBALL! (It's the only thing keeping me from being suicidal over the 'Hawks in the finals)

Re: Stanley Cup

I have a feeling that the Hawks are going to sneak the win on Wednesday.
A 1 goal difference game.
Just my 2 cents though.

Re: Stanley Cup

I'm starting to get nervous. (Cubs fan)

Also our satellite has been acting up, sunday I couldn't get NBC until
the third period.:(
If worse comes to worse I'll have to "listen" to the WGN radio broadcast.

I was in Grand Rapids last Wednesday on a business trip. Could not get it on the hotel TV either. Ended up getting a stream of the game on Justin TV on the laptop. It was a little jumpy but I did get to see the game though.
I have satellite with cable back up and as I am in Canada can get the CBC live stream as well.
So.....any score predictions anyone ??? the game is about to get under way:eek:

Sadly where I'm at I can't get NBC on the aerial and no Versus so I stream every game.

4-2 Chicago, Hossa with the winner, versteeg icing it with an empty netter.

I'm thinking a 1 goal win by Chicago with a mad scramble for the equalizer right at the buzzer.

Be kinda nice if they kept him there all game. As much as I dislike him, he's a fine defenseman, might get a tad dirty from time to time but most of the good physical d's do.

Re: Stanley Cup

Well he has 2 trips there so far tonight and one of them cost them a goal.
Great game so far with 20 minutes (or more) to go.

It might be an omen. Or not. The satellite has worked for every minute
tonight.

I'm not going to say another word. The "CUP" is in the building.

Man, you could see that coming. Q-stache had them sitting back in a 2-2-1 trying to hold on instead of pushing forward all the way. That's not gonna cut it to many times. Intensity level just went way up though. Philly has all the momentum now.

OVERTIME!!! Who needs sleep anyway? Sleep is for sissies, not hockey fans.

Philly will not give it up easily. A great game so far, I'm just hoping for a game 7.
