Anyone have any pics or info on what type of stapler to use to refit a cap.
I want to hire one, but not sure what type to get.
Can you get one that bends the prongs around ( like a paper stapler) or do you have to do that manually with pliers?

I dont really want to glass the cap on, as its alot more grinding, filleting, glassing etc

Lots of folk just use pop (blind) rivets for that.

Rivet, screws and a nice layer of sealant. I doubt a stapler investment is worth it.

Ah ok. Didnt really think about rivets, thanks. Will just have to get short ones so i can still get the gunwhale rubber on without fouling.

Would be good if you could get a rivet that finishes flush on either side. But yeah, i think i'll get short large flange rivets.
Thanks for the help.
