Starboard manifold hotter than port side

Hello all, I hope this is not as stupid as my last question. I finally have my 1974 electric shift 190 hp Ford 302 running in my driveway with a T flush fitting on the hose that runs from the intermediate to the thermostat housing. I let it idle for 20 minutes and the temp leveled out at about 150 Deg. As I was inspecting the engine I felt the manifolds and the starboard was much hotter to the touch than the port manifold. It was just about too hot to leave my hand on it. I will check for blockages when it cools a little. Any tips or advice on other things to check? If I can sort this out then I can take the kids for our first ride on the weekend. Thanks

yeah, if you jack up the low side of your trailer, you can probably make the other manifold the hotter one...driveways are never perfectly level, nor are boats on trailers. more water simply runs out via the lower manifold
