Well I and a friend just bought a older Starcraft Ilander. I have wanted one for many years, Question i have a 25 Johnson electric start outboard short shaft tiller type outboard engine. The Boat has a trolling motor plate assembly that can be moved up and down into the water, (its a typical one you see all over) NOW is the 25 horsepower motor too heavy for this type of bracket or ??it seems to be about the same size as a 15 horsepower one? I was hoping it would work ok for trolling duties Thankyou Mike (new member)
