Have you checked the condition of it? Condition is the most important factor when trying to assess the value.

Check the transom for ANY movement and/or soft spots of any kind. Check the floors for the same.

You have a good question about the value of an aluminum boat and their respective prices. I have been searching craigslist religiously and the prices are all over the board. I'm looking for a 14' - 16' basic fishing boat and I'm amazed that they are more expensive than a 16' - 18' Starcraft bigger water boats such as a super sport or holiday ect. The smaller boats I've look at have no floors, consoles, and are not very deep compared to other bigger boats but cost more. Can't fiqure that out, maybe the owners are just asking to much or other people are willing to pay that much for a fishing boat. You really have to watch what you buy and be patient. Ezmobee is probably correct in the $500 mark, but I would start lower because there are so many boats on the market today. You could probably find that same boat somewhere else with a motor and some extras to boot for the same price. Just a thought.

No Power = No Big Cash. My opinion. Any more details like what year and the asking price?

If you've got the motor already, check every possible place in & out the whole boat & start negotiating. W/out the motor the seller will have fewer possible buyers. So it's worth what you'll pay for it. W/ a good windshield and trailer a JUNK boat has a little value ($50-100) if you need that trailer or that windshield maybe a little more. If that boat floats, a little more. If it'll take a motor & is in usable, safe condition a bit more.

I agree w/ Ez, start a bit lower & try to land at or just under $500. Although it looks like a decent trailer it may be slightly undersized. Use that in your favor @ price. There seems to be quite a bit of boat past the rear support of the trailer bunks. And just in pix #3 it appears to be overhanging the fenders some, although it doesn't look like that so much in pix #1 & 2.

Good looking 14' boat. W/ the right 28hp, it'd be very nice looking out on the water & at the dock!
