First off let me thank you all for the opportunity to be here. We are very new to boating and I purchased a Starcraft boat for my wife on her birthday. Of course being in building Streetrods and in construction I dont mind a little work. Anyways my question is the boat I bought has a tag on it that reads STRB84641276F7 On the back and side it has Cloud 9 and we have no idea what year or make it is. Of course we had a flat tire on the trailer bringing it home. Can anybody help me with this? Thank you.

Re: Starcraft boat? Im new here.

Scott, Welcome to iBoats. All thru the eighties Starcraft offered these glass cuddys. Some years they were called CSF 191 or 221 for Contemporary Sport Fiberglass 19 or 21 footers. Other years they would just be called SF 191 or SF 221 assuming for Starcraft Fiberglass 19 or 22 footers. Unfortunately, we havent been able to gather many brochures for the 80's.

Can you post up some additional info like overall length, motor type and size? And some additional pictures please. Most of the folks here are aluminum boat nuts but we welcome the starcraft glass guys here and we'll gladly help if we can.

I'm not a glass guy but I really like the lines of these big glass boats that Starcraft made during that time, nice:)

Looks like a bit of clean up on the gel coat. I like Muscle Cars and admire Rods. Sounds like you've got a good background. Get a book on fiberglass. I'll see if I can find a tutorial on gel coat clean up.
