Ok boys and girls I am back on the job again the weather has broken and here are some pictures. I am in the process of sanding down the hull getting it ready to prime and paint. I have most of the paint damage chips etc... sanded. I just have to do a quick wet sanding of the rest of the hull and I will be ready for priming. Purchased all of my paint about 5 weeks ago. I am painting the hull acrylic urthane in Wimbeldon white ( 1965 ford mustang ). Once the hull is sanded I just need a day that is not too windy.

The hull is painted !I finally finished the paint on the hull after many hours of sanding. I started out by using a DA sander with 150 grit to remove and feather the larger paint chips. From there I spent about 12 hours wet sanding with 220 grit on all of the smalled chips etc. I then cleaned and preped with solvent and primed with a Maxx fill urathane. I spent another 4 hours+ wet sanding with 400 grit. I then washed and cleaned the hull with wax and grease remover. The hull was sprayed with acrlylic urathane. Wimbeldon white ( 65 Ford Mustang ) 2 coats. Looks like new again. I will post an article later on how to paint your aluminum boat. Here are som pics...

Thanks guys I think it came out well too.
After Labor day weekend I am going to flip it over and start on cleaning the inside and apply the gluevit.
