I think the glasser in me only bought it so a Tinny guy couldn't have it Bwahahaha..........

Seriously though, it was torture for me just waiting the week before I committed to buy my boat and worked out the cash, and the one day I had to delay because of bad weather! I don't know how you're standing it!

Things change so fast & often at work, sometimes several times an hour, that it makes planning tough. So I tend to let it sit in the background, working on how I'll work on her when she arrives. Same w/ the FireFLite resto. I was delayed dragging her home too. Fortunately, she didn't resist, not even once, after she was attached to the hitch! Just needed new shoes & towed just great!

Ok. Just where is this boat JB? If I didn't have too many projects and no gas money I would be tempted to pick it up and take it to you, just to help you get the ball rolling. But I would probably start itching as I got close to your place

Thanks but, no, it'll get here when its time..... If I'd quite surfing the forum & posting, it would fade from the mob's memory, and I'd get less abuse. But having time at night to stay on & active, keeps me itching to get her home. It's always back there, I like to think of this as my 'Jas staring at the boat' portion of the show..... All up front, no waiting

And these 100+ postings, are my 'battery placement' allotment of space Again all up front, no waiting!

I'd better stop there, it's going to be ugly in here while I'm at some seminars and the trade show tomorrow.

You know, I am no financial guru, but I am told that if you are going to park money for long periods of time, mutual funds might be a better yield than a 1960-ish star craft.... Or at least buy gold instead of aluminum....

We are getting low on pizza and the Guinness truck is half tapped.... What's our eta?

Fortunately for me, I've gotten more money back recycling cans before, then I currently have parked in Virginia. Thanks for stopping in for a beer, more $5 pizza's on the way!

Keep checking in, there will be rehab work here, eventually.....

There is now a firm, unchangeable, SC pickup plan in place. I will have lift off & tow of a new to me SC on 4/4/12, before dark, so pix under way will be made & posted asap Wed pm. Thank you for the heckling & the patience. This wlll be the hardest week to get through I can remember.

I thank the cadberry bunny for making this early Easter pickup possible. And a 4 day Easter weekend to get a plan of attack sorted, staged & planned!

No further posts here from me until it is to post a pix of it from the drivers seat while under tow..... Let the raccoons out & wreck away, we'll tidy the joint up after the pix are posted! Sorry for the delay in fulfilling the thread post w/ pix:facepalm:

On an interested & informational basis: Anybody got any info on 60's Rude StarFlite 3's? Good runners w/ or w/out the unicharger?

I gather that they areNOT FUEL FRIENDLY...

Firm Launch Date...I would believe that coming from NASA...JK...but I could sure go for some of that there fancy Guiness and a couple of slices, 1 with Pepperoni and Shrooms, 1 with Sausage and Onions...

Let's see, a picture of trailer tongue on a hitch with no SC visible...... very questionable......... another picture of an SC not showing the tow vehicle it is attached to that could have been a pic of some random CL SC....... again very questionable...........

Now, where are the real pics of it sitting at the house by the Glastron so we really KNOW it is real THIS time????
