hey guys i just got a first boat im looking for info on it the model number says tr170 1-0 the serial number is 967607 if anyone can tell me what type it is it help thanks

Yeah we would need a bit more info to go by. Is it fiberglass...aluminum?

Open bow, closed bow? OB or I/O?

There is a link in my signature to Starcraft brochures from the 60s-80s if that helps you at all. Some photos would help immensely.

i can try get some pics of it its a i/o and fiberglass im not sure with year that what im trying find out also im trying find the engine model number also its open bow type i cant tell to much about it scent the owner still trying get the title for it for me

sorry i got poor spelling and typing that's y i don't post much on here i found out that it a 70's model tr170 but cant pull any info on it i got the motor numbers from it its gm 991s983 then has conz9 j58 does that sound right im new to this stuff need get the carburetor rebuilt like get the kit to do it

Did you check out any of the brochures scooby?

There are quite a few from the 70s in the link in my signature. Should get it narrowed down on the model.

that did help a lot it tells me its a tr170 but there nothing else about it and when u look up parts for it there's nothing listed for it

Parts for your engine are going to be specific to the engine, not the model of the boat -- especially a carb kit.

i found the real motor numbers they are model cutr-69b the s/n is 1009413t heres a pictures of it
