Its not on clist yet, but my Chieftain is up for sale cheap/ trade. I've come to the realization that I bit off more then I could chew with this project, particularly since I had over estimated my mechanical abilities... I'm thinking it would suit my needs and abilities more on the opposite end of the spectrum with a small runabout (SC, of course )... I'm putting it here before Clist in hopes of a trade and y'all might be wanting a winter project! PM for info...]

For god's sake, get an outboard this time!

Thats the plan EZ! Its easy to find a working outboard and bolt it on, unlike the mess with a I/O. I just have to get the big girl out of my yard before buying a little runabout. The ebay link to the one in WI above is just about what I'm looking for I think, although $950 seems a bit high for a engine thats not running well.
