I think you're right. Look at the body line just below both stern eyes. Almost no space above that to the top of the transom (where the motor's currently 'sitting') on the port side, but on the starboard side there's a bunch of real estate above the body line. But NOT all the way up to above the blue paint.... Long shaft transom, 1/2 converted to a short shaft :confused:

I'm guessing this one has been on the market for a year or longer. I wonder how many have taken her for a test drive? A clean looking 1972 SS with trailer and Merc 80 for $2500 in far SE Atlanta. 1972 80hp Starcraft.

HMMM I just bought that very same hull north of Atlanta for $550 mine was every bit as clean just missing a few pieces :facepalm:

I think it's just pre-season jitters and sellers are eyeing the boat they WANT & are trying to figure out how to sell what they have & get nearly enough for the down payment on a new rig........


Besides this thread & the funny CL ad thread wouldn't get nearly as much fodder if not for the strange & interesting ads plus the down right stupidity of some CL & ebay sellers :D
