I Would like to submit my Application to the Starmada Gang.

After looking 5 years for just the right combination of price, condition, and within driving distance I finally found this 88 Islander Hardtop. She needs a little TLC but it started, and went into gear. (whew). Only problem that I have not been able to fix is the up on the trim button. Works on the trailer switch for now.

I just want to thank all the folks who have taken the time to post tons of info from the experiances and knowledge they have. The whole inboard game is new to me after 30 years of outboards. So many great ideas and photos! Hopefully I can return the favor as I progress with this project.

I was thrilled to find this boat for 4500.00. I was thrilled my wife let me stay with two boats now!
Have a great summer all and stay safe!

Nice looking boat Mark. Looks almost too clean to be a project!

YYYYYYyyyaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh buddy!!!! She's a beauty!:)

I've said it before and I'll say it again...

Islander owners are certainly the sharpest, most handsome boat owners in the whole Mada:D

Most everybody here would agree, I'm sure:p

Congratulations on your new rig, and welcome to iboats!

Howdy, Fire. Nice rig - clean and big and Awesome. Like RH said "Looks almost too clean to be a project!". But you gotta add your own touches so It's a project. Good find. I second the nomination for entry to the Starmada. We'll vote at the next membership meeting. BTW - Have we ever had a meeting?

On your trim question - Check out the trim limit switch & wiring. Sounds like a classic switch/wiring problem when the trailer switch gives up tilt because it by-passes the limit switch.

More pics please and have fun.
