Start Procedure for a 40hp ML 2 stroke

I need the start procedure for my Mercury 40hp ML 2 stroke 2 cylinder Sea Pro. I don?t have and can't find an Owner?s Manual (I have the Shop Manual) Can someone tell me how many times I?m supposed to push the primer button on the motor after squeezing the bulb? This motors year was miss read and the wroung plugs and gap were in it. I fixed that and just need to know the correct way to start it so I know if the cold start issue is fixed.

im not a pro with that motor, but no matter what im starting, weed wacker, lawn mower, boat, leaf blower, chainsaw, etc... i press the primer 4-6 times, on everything, and that seems to work. does the motor have a choke? since you mentioned cold start process. normally you will have to choke the engine untill it gets going for a few seconds.
