Starter Help !!Prestolite md0 4102m

Trying to get my pontoon to run. Need to replace the starter on '69 25903b evinrude . Bough 3 aftermarket " replacement " starters for the 4102m but the bolts don't line up to the mounting bracket!!! What do I do now???

What is wrong with original starter?----Your location ?

Maybe just needs new brushes. Or some previous bad DIY ? Loose connections ?

Fiance said tried all other components and that it shoukd be starter. He hooked starter up to a battery and wouldn't work. In minnesota. Mankato
