I have a 95 force 40 horse, which runs spectacular once it is started. The problem is it has very low power when turned over. I have tried 3 batteries which all read fully charged before going in my boat, all 3 just barely fired it up after a number of tries. It will pull start o.k. and it always eventually starts for the time being, but something obviously is wrong. From other questions it looks like I should check the solenoid first and then the starter after cleaning all the connections. Can I be sure it's not binding because it's running fine after starting?<br />Thanks alot - ahead of time!!
