I have a 2007 volvo 3.0 GLP-E with an SX/A drive. Serial #3869357 4012200520 (engine)
I when I turn the key, I hear a click from the starter relay. Nothing else. I tried jumping it but I am not sure which terminals to connect together. I followed thru Dons sticky about troubleshooting starting problems and ran into a speedbump. There seems to be no terminal where Dons diagram states "A" should be. Like the space is there, and the relay switch has a prong there, but nothing inside to make contact with. I cannot figure out what each terminal corresponds with... Any help would be appreciated..
Also, there was an identical relay next to the starter relay that is N/A for my motor. It was just sitting inside empty terminals. I tried this relay for the starter and it clicks just the same... not sure if it was installed mistakenly, or it is just a spare... however, its making me think the relay is not the problem....
