Hi All,

First the engine is a Pleasurecraft model 50-570-06 serial number 690057 (2009 manufacture date), but it is a repower and I swear there are a LOT of mercruiser parts on it - so I think it has been pieced and parted together - that said it runs great.... normally.

I recently had issues with the starter - or so i thought. I clicked and clicked when I hit the ignition. Battery fine - connections are cleaned and tight. So it is between the slave solenoid and the starter solenoid then right? Since I could not find the slave solenoid anywhere I thought there was none. I have replaced the starter with a new one and I still have the issue.

I have looked all over the engine block for the slave and I have found the relay but not the solenoid. Very frustrating. Any ideas as to where to find this little bugger?

And does anyone have a link to where to purchase parts for this model?

If it's pieced together no one here can tell you where things are at, unless they are the ones that did the piecing together.

Post some pictures, then maybe we can help you find things. Some companies use a relay as the slave, instead of a solenoid. The starter solenoid is on top of the starter if it's a GM engine.
