Starter Solenoid?

Done. Turns out the metal mounting bracket is the ground! I only had to use one of the small terminals for positive. bolted the neutral safety wire to the mounting bracket.
Maybe I misunderstand but doesn't that mean that the neutral safety switch is effectively bypassed.? Or is the mounting bracket insulated from ground.

well.... that parts diagram place shows a insulating sleeve on the selenoid AND that library place shows a neutral switch in series with the ground
so an extra ground wire on the selenoid does in fact bypass the neutral switch :-( :-(


thenext question now is....What's wrong with the safety switch ?
