I am getting ready to start my engine for the first time and I was wondering if in the event that the motor was hard to start, I could use some starting fluid or is the fluid going to damage something. Any help will be greatly appreciate. :)

You do not want to use starting fluid if its a two stroker. The fluid will wash the oil away thus damaging the engine. You should get a spray bottle and use premix (oil& gas mix) the same as you would starting fluid.
If it's your first time starting make sure you have fresh gas and a clean filter. You might check the bowl on the carb for krud and if its there it's rebuild time.

Hello.
If this is the first time in a long time it is a good idea to pull the plugs and put a little bit of oil in the cylinders or spray some oily fuel in the carb mouth while turning it over. Now turn it over a few more times and your dry parts are lubricated. This sort of takes the sting out of the first time.
