I have 3 threads on my exact same boat I studied before I tore into mine. They all were completely different as far as what was under the deck, stringer and bulkhead wise. So it obviously isnt that critical exactly what it was. I seen one boat the bulkheads went completely side to side. Mine had no such animal. Just between the 2 main stringers. And it used 3/4 plywood from the stringer to the side as bracing for that area.

But usually they are a vee shape at the bottom. If it is sealed and has floatation all the way to the bottom. If there was no foam I see a drain along the bottom in the middle on those boats.

Best is to hunt restoration threads and look and find a stringer system similar to yours.

Pictures loaded directly to the site can also be inserted into the thread. I ended up doing this when Photobucket attempted to hijack us.
