Starting after varying time periods, tips or tricks?

I have read the cold start procedures, and mine generally will start with the 8 count method in one or two tries. my question is once the motor is running recently, what are the tips/tricks for restarting? Usually mine will fire up immediately when warm, but occasionally will need some help in the form of the warm up lever or push choke once parked for a while. not sure the cold start should be used unless sitting for more than a day or so? thanks for any advice

no restarting tips? assume i should not have to prime once it's been running in the past hour, maybe i'm just flooding it when it doesn't fire immediately and i think it needs more gas

That is likely what is happening. If it has been running and warm just turn the key to start with. If it fails to fire then give it choke. Best of luck. Rick.

They are all a little different!
On my 115 I always push the throttle open just a little before I start it if it has been sitting a while. When cold, I push the throttle open (very little)and choke it while cranking. If it has been shut down for a few minutes (30 or so) I just turn the key and start.
