Re: Starting Help Please!!!!!
I would start with the battery. Charge it on a charger or take it to be tested to make sure it is good. Once you have a known good battery you can check that it is being charged by the alternator. Knowing those two are good I would then start to go circuit-by-circuit to find out which is drawing power.

You can remove the ground wire from the battery and insert a current meter to measure the current being drawn. If you don't have a multi-meter that can measure DC current you can use a test light probe.

You can then, one-by-one, pull your fuses to break the circuits. When you pull the fuse and the light goes out (or current drops off), you have found the bad circuit.

Note that some of the circuits are designed to draw a little power all the time. For example, many stereos draw constant power to maintain your channel settings and time. If you have an automatic bilge pump (one that comes on by itslef and does not use a float switch) it will also draw power. Neither of these should be enough to kill a battery unless the boat is sitting for a very long time.

Good luck
