I have twin 200HP opti max's, they are 2001's. In the warm weather they run like a couple of raped apes, but when the weather is cooler, say 40ish or lower, one motor will not start. I tries to kick over but won't. Even if I shoot some starting fluid in it, it'll only run until the fluid is gone. I've changed the plugs, gas filter, air filter, cleaned ALL battery connections. I even thought maybe the gas line may have had a hole, so I changed that as well. Now I can get by puttering with one motor to our Striper spot which isn't far from our dock, then later on in the day when the weather warms a bit the troubled motor starts like there was never a problem. Anyone have any ideas??
Thanks in advance for any advice.

You need to make sure the ecm is seeing the correct motor temp. A scan tool to see if the motor ecm see's the correct ambient temp would be ideal. Also if you have the gauges with the digital displays I believe you can toggle through and get the temp the ecm is seeing.

If not that check the airpressure from the compressor.
