Stator Replacement and Engine Timing

If I replace the stator on my engine is it necessary to retime it?

changing the stator in itself will not affect the timing......but its always a good policy to check it. Who's to say it was right to begin with....

Yes it is necessary to re-time it. Every stator you buy will come with a note stating that fact.
