Question about stator to regulator wiring. There are 2 yellow wires that come from both stator and the regulator/rectifier. Can any yellow wire from the stator be plugged into either of the yellow wires on the reg/rect and vice versa?

The reason I ask is I was troubleshooting a tach/regulator/rectifier issue and had both yellow wires unplugged. I plugged everything back in but am not sure if they are as before, and if that would cause any problems. Basically, are those yellow wires interchangeable? Thanks for the help.

It doesn't matter which yellow wires on the stator is plugged into the yellow wires on the regulator. This is the AC output voltage from the stator to the regulator. There is no polarity or anything like that.
