Stearing for a f150

Hi ,<br /><br />I transfered a seastar stearing system model HC5342 from my Mercury to my new F150.....seems like it does not though far enough.....i did it just as the directions say....I entered end hole on the tiller arm...any sugestions or tips would be a huge help...thank you

you need to contact the teleflex tech web site. shoot them an email. tell them the cyl model and the merc seriel number it was mounted on. then ask them for the mounting package to transfer it to the F150 yam. my application guide does not list the 5342 cyl for the F150.sometimes the older cyl's are not transferable to new engines without the correct mounting package.
