i have a 19' center console with a teleflex no feed back setup on it and the motor is a 200 johnson....the problem is the boat steers great when just sitting there or up to about 20 mph, but if you go faster than about 20 mph the steering gets super stiff...the cable has been greased and nothing is loose or binding...i had a guy tell me it could be the torque from the motor and might have to go to hydraulic steering...anybody have opinions on this ??
as far as hydraulic goes, is it night and day difference from the cable setup
thanks for any advise in advance
