I have a 1985 Bayliner 16 ft Trophy Fish and Ski with an 85 hp Force. I have 2 issues with the boat that I would like to get some advise/opinions on. The first is my steering. The steering works finewith the exception of, when in the water moving I have to hold the wheel tightly to the left or the boat will veer pretty hard to the right. As I hold it to the left, the boat sits at an angle with the left side lower than the right.
My second question is one that has probably been answered numerous times in the past. When I raise my engine it slowly comes back down. The trim piston (the thick rod beween the 2 shock absorber looking things) is out and once the engine hits it, it will hold. Is this a pump issue, low on fluid or what?
Thanks for any advise.
