Steering Cable Question

I have a 1977 Stamas 24' cuddy with 351w and mc1 outdrive. I have looked all over ebay for a new steering cable. Mine has a large nut that screws into the helm and all i seem to be able to find is the quick connect style. Do these kits come with adapters for the nut style i have or am i missing something all together?

Need to know what is the name and model number of your helm.

So is the helm,...

That's why the pricin' reflects that with the "Kits",....
