OK....I'm stomped here and need help. I have a Marlin jet boat with a panther 460 engine and a panther jet drive. When I try to remove the steering cable, the last portion which is the s/s portion that attaches to the jet drive is too long to pull out through the engine compartment. It keeps hitting on the bell housing. Is there a way to take the cable out short of taking out the whole engine??? Any ideas??? Greg
