1968 larson with 120 i/o merc. Broke the cable and have a teleflex cable and helm. It seems that I have a female end the end of the actual cable that is supposed to screw into another female threaded end on the tube. Am I missing something or do I need to get a little creative with connecting it? Or do I need to get a whole new setup for the steering on the transom?
