steering cables-Pro job or do it in basement

I need to replace the steering cables(dual r&p) on my 95 Javelin 377A 18'(17'9"actual).Doesn't look like to hard of a job.Should I attempt this or Pay a pro to do it.

ratltrap,<br /><br />You can do it, we're all pulling for you and we'll be here.<br /><br />Make sure your new cables are the same length as the old.

Thank you djohns19.A little shot in the arm is all I needed.If I can find the cables,I'll do it this weekend.I know to come here for help if I need it.
