Steering conversion advice needed

Hi,
I have a 19ft inboard powered boat that is currently set up with a stern tiller, but I'd like to convert it to cable operated steering with steering wheel or helm mounted further towards the bow. So I'm wondering if anyone can point me to a website or someone that has advice or diagrams on how to carry out such a conversion? My google searches just seem to turn up information relating mainly to outboard powered boats.

Cheers,
bluey.

It seems like it would be relatively simple. A helm and push-pull cable running to either the tiller itseld or a shorter lever on the rudder. I would look at some larger sail powered boats with helms to see how the rudder and wheels are set up
